Not sure why they changed the app the way they did but it has ruined the flow and functionality. Hopefully the functionality will return as I can adjust to a new flow. It should be at least as good as the previous app.

It wont let me sign in or pay with the app. Its is totally useless. I could care less about the rewards it was just nice to have an app that worked.
The app is terribly slow. Taps dont register so you tap again and the screens jump up and down when it finally registers multiple taps. Most of my drinks have some expired pricing issue so I cant use the favorites menu to order. I have to recreate all the drinks. Location and API calls are so slow, it takes forever to complete an order.
6 notifications and no way to read them. And not working for the star statues. Terrible app I have ever used..
This app does not allow edit of email address. Once its associated with an Email, you cannot change it. It is written in stone.

Too bad "0" Stars was not an option. The app is not user friendly and is unstable. Navigation is not intuitive and near impossible to find messages, etc. Not uncommon to receive "system issues messages" or receive a message that a common item, i.e. A grande latte is "not available at this shore. Rewards program? Right!
The new update looks much nicer but lacks functionality. Youve made it really annoying to check messages and rewards and theres still no ability to see email rewards or add stars in app.

The new app is garbage! Notifies you of messages, but there is no way to check them. I deleted the app and downloaded it again and now it wont let me sign in! Now I cant pay for my drink!!
Maybe a new version would be better. Can it get worse?
its let me log in using my email, and now it had issues even showing my cards scan code, logging out only brought the log-in issue, gotta make sure you got the bugs guys, looks like you missed a few
Why cant we see how many star rewards we have? Also, why does it not work consistently? Since the latest update and switch to the new star accumulation I have had to go in to reload my card which gets rid of the convenience of ordering and reloading enroute... Not pleased at all....
There seems to be a problem with the pay feature. Apple Wallet works okay. The app doesnt load fast on Apple Watch when Im at Starbucks and it sends a notification when Im not needing the app (not in Starbucks).
Please please pretty please bring back the old format or switch the new dashboard to a different layout. The new format is awkward, the opposite of streamlined, and it now takes me much longer to accomplish what Im in there to do (order, check history, leave a tip, clear annoying message indicators). Also, when using the mobile app it would be nice if there was a way to choose a different location than the one Im nearest. I.e. allow me to choose one thats along my direction of travel. : )
Ive had nothing but issues with the new version. I earn Starbucks rewards with choice hotels and Im not able to transfer from rewards to my app any longer also I have notifications constantly coming in I have new messages but I have no messages and this version is not as easy to navigate. Very unhappy customer
Ive been gold member since many years ago. However, after being forced to upgrade to the new version, I lost my next years gold status and all rewards Ive already earn.
1. The app was completely redesigned and whoever did it has terrible UX taste 2. The tabs/buttons for Pay, Order etc are too small. These are your main features so why are they so hard to tap? 3. Messages is completely hidden and hard to find. If youre going to put notifications and badges on, then at least show me whats causing those notifications when I open the app right away. I dont want to have to hunt for it.
I tell the barista I have a reward as the website says to do, and the baristas say its automatic and to just scan it. I now have a bunch unused. The new app...The staff doesnt even know how to use it. Also, apparently by the top reviews, if you criticize the app in any way youre a snob. Uninstalling as soon as my balance is zero. I just want some drama free coffee before I go to work. Jeeze.
