The message system is messed up. Very annoying to use

I have 4 message notifications from this app but cant, for the life of me, figure out how to access them. Not under any menu. No luck swiping left/right/up/down. Cant even find them from desktop logon. Please fix!!
Im a big Starbucks fan. But the new app isnt my favorite. The old one seemed better. Mine constantly shows that I have messages no matter how many times I open the app or click on the details. It never goes away. Its annoying.
Top level summary and message pages disappeared. What were supposed to be the improvements?
I love the flat white. I have one 5-6 days a week and it costs $6.04 every time. Each time I pick it up, they are about 2 inches from being full (due to the foam going down). Starbucks offers the best coffee and atmosphere, but Id like to receive what I pay for. The app is awesome, especially now that you can redeem free drinks by way of mobile ordering.
I love the new app! Havent had any of the problems that some folks are complaining about so not sure what the issue is for them, but is great for me!
This update is for the app and also the new rewards program. While I dont mind the new way of earning stars, the current promotion allowing anyone to gain gold status after a single purchase is just ridiculous. It completely cheapens the rewards program and makes me feel like having a gold card is no longer special. Also, a few issues with the app. The new design is nice and I like the main feed but there are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed. I have badges that wont go away. Ive used rewards already but the app still shows that I have them available. Things like that. I wouldve left this at one star. But Im giving it an extra one for the new design and the new ability to use rewards when mobile ordering.
I cant clear notifications! Ive looked at all notes describing the new format for the rewards program. The app briefly shows a screen which says Im all caught up when BAM! Im back to having the same notes to look at. I dislike having red # above the app.

The app has good features. I couldnt find my messages on my iPad which is not phone-enabled though the app said I had s message. I had to open the app on my phone.
They took one of the best apps in the iTunes Store and made it horrible!!!! Whoever was in charge of the new update should be drawn and quartered before being fired.

It doesnt update and keeps showing I have 2 messages. Ive looked many times and there is nothing new for me to view. Kinda annoying. Also, The layout of the app isnt intuitive and needs to be rearranged.
The app shows that I have a free drink waiting but the most recent update doesnt give me the option of redeeming the reward. Please fix.
So tired of the constant updates. Now I am unable to clear notifications on the app. Seriously considering uninstalling and switching coffee shops. The appreciation/ value isnt there anymore since the rewards structure change.
When I try to do a mobile order, it shows the USA but says there are no stores near me. Thats ridiculous because I am in SF where there is a Starbucks on every corner. Youve lost out on at least $100 this week because my team and I cant order on mobile. Fix this!!
I try to make an order on my app this morning, but failed to refresh my card balance and couldnt reload. After that I reinstall the app, but failed to log-in. Too many bugs for the update. Please fix them asap!
I cannot get my notifications to go away because there is nowhere to access the messages and delete them. I tried clicking everything in the app. Please fix this!
