Huge fan of Starbucks, but the app needs a huge redo. The user interface is complicated and the rewards program is confusing. Being a Gold Member has lost its value. Please simply everything and improve the user interface. The app has too many unimportant features, and it is overly complicated to navigate.

I get message notifications..it takes 5 minutes to find them. I took pride in being a Gold member, now everyones a gold member. If I order online and go into Starbucks they have the online orders behind the counter...so you have to stand in line to get it...kind of defeats the purpose. Why cant I just take a picture of a gift card to have it added to my account? Some serious work needs to be done to keep your customers loyal.

Used to be a good easy to navigate and use app. Now its mostly just a big list of adds. Cant even figure out how to get rid of the ads or notifications. In fact what are all those notifications? More ads?

You can download an older version of the app but it wont matter because it wont let you log in to your account.

Updated app to current version 4.0.1 and now I am unable to log in. I type in username and password and it just goes back to the same screen without loading my account and information. Please fix!

I deleted it because it wasnt allowing me to reload my card and now I cant log back in. So frustrating!

Can no longer find the notifications even tho it shows I have 3 waiting. Cant figure out how many freebies are available, and not even the baristas can look and tell me. Complete fail, Starbucks. Ive been gold for many years which no longer counts for anything. I buy every day. But counts not at all and now the app is an ill-conceived, badly executed disaster. Hopefully they will address this quickly.

This new update is bad. It wont let me get rid of the notifications. I chose to stop "push notifications" and it still pushes them. They wont clear either, which is why I originally wanted to stop the push on them. Fix it!

I have no clue what happening with your programmers, but please, tell them to put down the crack pipe or find another job. What used to be a nice functional iOS iPad app has turned into a convoluted, confusing, useless waste of our time. Its insulting to your customers to keep pushing this crap out. Delete it and start over. Stop trying to be uber clever and creative - your crack smoking programmers cant handle that. Start with something functional and useful and that works!

If I could I would i give this update no stars. It not work 95% of the time when I try to use it. Very frustrating when ur in line try to pay or trying to reload

I do not want advertisements in my face. 2 most important things are how much is on my card and find the nearest store.

Since the new stars program i have being buying more Starbucks stuff Mocha, Coffee, hot chocolate and the stars arent reflect. I have base on app 220 stars but Im sure i have more cuz i have spent $11, $9, $5 in different occasion . They say my app is out of date. Guess what I updated it this week because it ask me and guess what nothing happen still the same

I like the app, I would really like to have the choice to order decaf americano or decaf cappuccino. Seems like decaf is not an option on the drink menu.

So disappointed in the new app. I cannot get my notifications to clear and cannot even figure out where my messages are. I cant tell when my star rewards expire and its just not easy enough to use for me to engage in it everyday. I used to enjoy the convenience of using my app to pay and monitor rewards but now that its more frustrating than fun Im certain Ill be at Starbucks less since the app is no longer a driver in my decisions where to get coffee.

The app says I have five notifications, but no matter how many times I open it or click on the details of the most recent items, the badge icon wont go away!! Its infuriating.

I currently have 6 badge notifications and have no clue how to clear them out. This app is not as intuitive as the old one.

I still use and it is very handy to pay for coffee, but this version is bad. The last one was so much better and easier to get around

Ever since the new update I have been unable to access messages. Also, if you dont tip when the message box pops up, you cant go back later and do it.

Starbucks has out done themselves this time, they have gone from bad to worse. My password no longer works since the last update and they have nothing on the app for resetting the password, really? Not very intuitive on its use, constantly hunting for the messages and rewards. In a busy world this Starbucks app has found a way to make your day even more frustrating. Good job Starbucks, NOT!

Everything is fine EXCEPT the part where my balance takes forever to refresh. It used to be instant but now its not until the next day that the correct balance is shown after making a purchase. Very annoying to think you have enough money on your card only to find out that you dont.
